Cardinal Technologies Return/Repair Policy Information

The original sales receipt must accompany all returns. No refunds or exchanges after 30 days from the date of sale. All returns outside of this return policy will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

Custom Orders

Any item special ordered will be automatically charged to your student account upon arrival if not told otherwise. Any custom order not picked up after one week will be charged to your student account regardless. Special ordered items are non-returnable.

Hardware

Unopened computer hardware and accessory products may be returned up to 30 days from the date of sale. Opened computer hardware and accessory products will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty, including defective products.

Order Cancellation

Custom configure-to-order (CTO) computers from Apple are NOT eligible for stock balance, return or price protection privileges. Apple configure-to-order systems (part numbers beginning with Z) received by the Computer Store and subsequently cancelled or declined by the customer will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee.

Service Parts

No refunds on service parts. Defective service parts will be exchanged for a like part only up to 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days from the date of purchase, defective service parts will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty.

Service

We are not responsible for any data loss. We will do out best to recover as much as possible, but there are many circumstances where it is out of our hands. In those cases we will still provide recommendations on alternative data recovery procedures offered by other companies. This however can be costly.

Software

Unopened current version software products may be returned up to 30 days from the date of sale. There are no refunds for opened retail software products or licensed software and manuals.
