Classroom Technology

ITS's Instructional Media Services group designs, plans, implements and supports over 100 digitally-equipped classroom spaces with technology ranging from just a ceiling mounted data projector and screen to a full complement of projection equipment, Mac and/or Windows computers, and audio equipment. There are six teaching labs with a computer station for every student and one for the instructor. These are arranged in either a U-shape, with the students' displays visible to the instructor and a central board room style table, or in rows like a traditional lecture classroom. The numbers of seats in these labs range from 14 to 33. We are looking to add more teaching lab spaces since these spaces are more popular every year.

You can see a full listed of the available rooms with information about the technology available in each at

Classroom technologies like clickers and automated lecture recording are available. If you're interested in finding out more about these, contact your Academic Computing Manager
