Laptop and LCD Projector Loan Policy

Apple and Windows-compatible laptops are available for loan from the Wesleyan Computer Store and Service Center.  In addition, portable LCD projectors are available.

The following policies apply:

  1. First come, first serve availability.  Reservations may be made only up to one year in advance.
  2. Maximum length of loan is 10 working days.
  3. There is no charge for the loan of the laptop; however, a $50 per day late fee will be billed automatically if return is after 5:00PM on the scheduled return date.  A charge will also apply for any missing accessories.
  4. If significant setup of special software or network configuration is required, it will be billed at the standard service center labor rate.
  5. Pickup must be before 3:00PM on the scheduled day.  We recommend you pick up your loaner as early as possible to ensure all needed software is loaded and meets your needs.
  6. Faculty and staff are eligible for loaners.  Any students must have the signature of a sponsoring faculty or staff member.  A valid account number is required to secure any reservation.
