Are technology resources available, used effectively to enhance the learning experience, and designed to prepare graduates in your major for technology use in their careers?

Access to, and knowledgeable instruction in, the use of specialized technology employed in your major area of study -- for example, plotters, computer-aided design equipment, specialized (and often expensive) software -- is important career preparation, whether you intend to work in your chosen area after graduation or go to graduate school.

In certain disciplines, experience in the use of technology in research is also important. Graduates of programs in which the latest methods and equipment have been employed have an advantage when they seek employment or admission to graduate programs.

It will be important for you to explore what technology critical to your major will be available and how accessible it is, especially during what hours it is available.
