ITS Training

There will be two days of classes offered  March 18 and March 19, 2009.  We are offering our most popular classes from January again.  If you could not take a class then, this is a chance to do so.

What if I don't have Office 07?

We are rolling out Office 07 on machines that can handle the upgrade.  We are evaluating hardware to make every possible allowance for having Office 07 installed. Contact your Desktop Support person.  He/she will look at your computer and determine if the update can be done and, if not, what would need to happen for it to be able to run it.  We are very aware that people have not all updated.  We will use this opportunity to help those along who haven't yet.

What is the cancellation policy?

You must cancel two weeks prior by notifying Karen Warren or sending an email to training@wesleyan.edu in order not to be charged for the class.  ITS has had to contract out for the trainers therefore we have to abide by their cancellation policy.

Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements two weeks prior to the scheduled class date may be canceled.

Why is there no Word Level 1?

Word is such a pervasive program in use on the campus, there seemed to be no need for a basic beginner course in Word.  Be sure, however, to click on the course to see an exact listing of topics to be covered. That is your best determination as to what best meets your needs.

Registration is on a first come-first served basis.

Classes take place in the ITS Training Facility located in the Public Affairs Center (PAC) Room 100.
