Installing Microsoft Frontpage software from the Software Server

Note:  If you are facutly or staff member and your computer is set up to login to the Wesleyan Domain, you will automatically have an S: drive mapped the the Software server. 

If you are a student or your computer is not set up for Domain login, CLICK HERE for instructions on how to map a drive to the Software server.

Note:  This process can be very slow depending on the amount of network traffic and the speed of your network connection!   We recommend doing installation during off-peak hours or, if you have a very slow connection, that you purchase an installation CD from the Wesleyan Computer Store. 

To install Microsoft FrontPage Software:

1. Open either My Computer or Windows Explorer and select your S: drive.

2. On the S: drive, double-click on the Web_Page_Design  folder.

3. Double-click on the Custom FrontPage 2002 folder.

4. Double-click SETUPEXE.  This will launch the fully automated installation program.

5. Follow the prompts on the screen.he program will prompt you to reboot your computer at the end of the installation.  Click OK.
