Student Group Web Sites
Policy
All student groups recognized by the WSA have the opportunity to publish
their own Web
pages. Web space on www.wesleyan.edu
is made available for each group. The url of the group will be http://www.wesleyan.edu/wsa/group_name
where group_name is the agreed upon name or abbreviated name of the group.
Process
A student group wanting a Web page needs to go to the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development
to fill out the form to request Web space. The Director of SALD will work
with ITS to fulfill the request. The student group will receive a userid/password
for its Web space.
Resources
Student groups are responsible for maintaining their own web pages. You can
use any Web editor to create and maintain your personal Web space. Help with
these editors is
available, as are a range of widgets
that you can use to enhance your page. Students can request
Web authoring training from
the Library. Online training is available through Element
K.
