Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
Different Shades of Green or Beyond the Farm

On Friday January 29, 2016, Wesleyan University will celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. All members of the Wesleyan and greater Middletown community are invited to a panel presentation & discussion to explore the perspective on Environmental Justice as a keystone to Civil Rights and Social Justice Legacy that Dr. King has left. The discussion will take place at 4:15pm in the Memorial Chapel.

Keynote: Dr. Dorceta E. Taylor, Ph.D.

Professor; University of Michigan, James E. Crowfood Collegiate Chair; Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Past Chair of the Environment and Technology Section of the American Sociological Association
