College of Letters Library

The Peter Boynton Library of the College of Letters is a small collection organized by Library of Congress Classification for ease of access to majors.

To see books listed by colloquia, please search one of the following terms: Antiquity Colloquium, Medieval Colloquium, Early Modern Colloquium, 19th Century Colloquium, or Modernity Colloquium. There are also sections dedicated to Jewish Studies, Science and Science History, and Selected Poetry. The Selected Poetry section does not circulate. Books may only be taken out by COL majors, though everyone is invited to the library. If searching for books by ISBN or SBN, keep the dashes. Hours: The library follows the COL office's schedule. In the past, students have organized rotating schedules for access to the library after-hours. Enquire for details if interested.
