Collection on Legal Change

The late Clement E. Vose, John E. Andrus Professor of Government, began this collection in 1970 while seeking sources for his book, Constitutional Change (1972). Upon his death in 1985, the CLC included eight collections, six of which are described in published registers. Mr. Vose was also responsible for the NEH-funded 170-reel Microfilm Edition of Southern Civil Rights Litigation Records for the 1960s and its printed guide.
