About the
Science Library
The Science Library, located in
the center of the Science Complex on Church Street, is the divisional library
for the natural and physical sciences. While serving the information needs of
the entire Wesleyan community, the Science Library primarily supports the
Departments of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Environmental Science,
Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. In all,
it holds over 250,000 volumes, more than 1,200 bound journal titles, and
provides access to a variety of electronic indexes, databases, and electronic
texts.
Science reference
materials, books of current interest, and a leisure reading collection are all
available on the ground floor of the Science Library. The University’s DVD and
video collection are also located on the ground floor of the Science Library.
Books supporting the mathematics, the natural and physical sciences
are located on the second floor. The bound journal
collection is in the newly renovated basement
