Adding and Editing Charts, Tables, Graphs
 

After clicking on the "New Slide" icon in the toolbar, select one of the new slide layouts that includes a chart. Or, to create a chart in an existing or a blank slide, select "Insert" from the main menu, then select "Chart." You can delete a chart, or a chart box, by clicking on the border of the chart box and hitting "Delete." 

The example to the right is a "Text & Chart" layout. Double click in the chart area to insert a chart, table, or graph.  

 

 

You will get a sample chart with data, as in the image below. You can edit the numbers in the datasheet, or you can import a file, such as an Excel spreadsheet or a Word table, to replace the sample chart. To replace the sample data with an imported file, click the "Import File" icon to select which file to import.
