Selecting a Design Template
| The default design for a slide is to have no
design. But you can choose from a variety of templates for background
colors and designs, fonts, and layouts. Click "Getting Started" in the
Task Pane and select "Slide Design." From there, you can select from a
long list of preformatted templates.

 |
When you select a design template, you can select to
"apply to all slides" or only to selected slides. |
| You can also select color schemes and
animation schemes ("animation schemes" do such things as fade your title
and text in, zoom it in from the side, or other exciting and/or annoying
tricks. (That comment about "annoying" is something to keep in mind: if
you use any of the "bells and whistles" features, use them for a purpose
to enhance your content, or at least use them sparingly so they do not get
in the way of the content.) |
