Put Your
Presentation on the Web
 |
Under "File" on the main menu, there is an option to
"Save as Web Page." This will allow you to save your
presentation on the Web.
|
| |
 |
- Select the location to save the Web presentation (if you have access
to your Web site, you can save it there directly; or, you can save it
to your hard drive, network file, or other location and copy the files to the Web site later)
- Click
"Publish" to set options (optional; see below)
- Name the file. This will be the name of the "htm" or
"html" file.
- Click
to "Save."
|
 |
You can select to publish the
"Complete presentation" or just a portion of the show.
There is also an option for selecting compatibility with browsers.
Later browsers include more options, so more graphics, animations, etc.,
can be presented on them. Selecting to be compatible with older browsers
will allow more viewers to see your Web presentation, but it may not be
able to include some of the more advanced features that may be included in
your presentation. |
|
|

|
|
There are also some useful
"Web Options" available for selection:
- General: Select colors for navigation links and background;
select whether to include slide animations.
- Files: Specifications for file names and locations.
- Pictures: Select for "screen size" which determines size
of slides as they appear on screen.

|
Now, find the folder in which you saved the presentation. By default,
there will be a frames page with whatever name you gave it, with all the
target files in an accompanying folder. So, when you open the presentation
with a Web browser, it will appear as a frames page with the slides in the
main frame, slide titles in a contents frame on the left, and any included
notes in a frame under the slides.
