Artists' Books

Special Collections & Archives has a fine and growing collection of artists' books. Artists' books are hand-bound books which are important not only for their content but for their unique forms. Many include hand-made paper, original drawings or photographs, and unusual bindings. Many artists' books challenge the reader to think about  the nature of the book and the act of reading in new ways.
