Writing Consultant

Graduate Liberal Studies offers the services of a writing consultant to help students improve their academic writing skills. The consultant, Elizabeth Bobrick, is available to work one-on-one with students who have been admitted to the degree program. Wesleyan University Writing Workshop

The Wesleyan University Writing Workshop is open to all students. For more information about the Writing Workshop, click here. To schedule an appointment, students may click on the "Writing Workshop" link in the Academic Resources section of their E-Portfolio or call (860) 685-2440. Students are welcome to show up without making an appointment during drop-in hours.

ITS Helpdesk

Student consultants are available to help with technical problems.  Questions sent to helpdesk@wesleyan.edu are answered within 24 hours.  The Helpdesk is located on the first floor of the Exley Science Center (Rm. 143).  Refer to the ITS website for hours.

Computer Labs

ITS operates many public labs equipped with powerful computers and common software applications. Additionally, there are unique labs that offer access to specialized software in the arts and humanities, sciences and mathematics, as well as the social sciences. All of the labs are connected to the campus network and the Internet. The software for labs and lab hours can be found on the Academic Computing Labs section of the ITS website. 

Library Facilities and Services

Current library hours are posted at http://www.wesleyan.edu/libr/hours/ or you can call 860-685-2660 for this information.  In addition to a host of other services, you can request a Personal Research Session with a librarian to work on a particular research project. This allows a librarian to work with you one-on-one, on your schedule, and concentrate on your particular needs.
