Required Assignments:

*One thought paper, 2-4 pages, on each book. Can be personal, informative, creative; as long as they are in response to the texts, making it evident that you read the book, and should contain your reactions to each reading. Be prepared to discuss reactions/responses to books in class.

*The final project will consist of a 5-7 paper paper on some topic, (3-4 outside readings/articles of any sort), related to death and/or dying. Students may choose topic. This will be the basis for a 15 minute presentation on one of the last two days of class. Again, this paper should be informal, creative, informative, and may involve visual/audio aids, handouts, etc. Student can can email or call the instructor with a topic at any time.
