Welcome to the website of Wesleyan University's Department of Mathematics & Computer Science. There are 17 regular faculty and roughly the same number of graduate students. We offer B.A. and M.A. programs in mathematics and computer science, an interdepartmental major in mathematics and economics, and a Ph. D. program in mathematics. The research emphasis at Wesleyan is in pure mathematics and theoretical computer science.
