The Wesleyan McNair Scholars Program serves students in their
second, third, and fourth semesters, and provides activities,
workspace, peers, and mentors to help prepare them to become Fellows in
their later years.
McNair Scholar activities include:

Weekly meetings with McNair staff covering materials such as:
Time management
Financial management
How to choose a research project
How to choose a research mentor
Preparing for research
Progress through the major
How to write a statement of purpose

Fall McNair research talks (by Wesleyan faculty)

End of semester off-campus event
McNair Scholars can apply for funds to allow research hours to count
toward their work-study allotment.
