  Dr. Manju Hingorani is Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in the Molecular Biophysics Program, Wesleyan University. She received her BS from KMK College of Pharmacy, University of Bombay, India, in 1990, and her Ph. D in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH in 1996. After graduation, Dr. Hingorani was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rockfeller University and Howard Hughes Medical Institute, working on mechanisms of DNA replication. She has been at Wesleyan University since 2000, teaching and doing research on the workings of proteins responsible for DNA replication and repair in S. cerevisiae and T. aquaticus. Her research is supported by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIH) R01 grant (2002) and the National Science Foundation CAREER Development Award (2005).
