Chinese Music Ensemble
Wesleyan Chinese Music Ensemble is an active music group where students from diverse backgrounds can participate; their concerts attract audience from both Wesleyan and larger communities. There have been a number of Chinese music ensembles at Wesleyan starting from the early 1980s, instructed by Music Department’s graduate students.
Students will learn both traditional and contemporary instrumental pieces of Chinese music, as well as different regional styles. The ensemble will present a concert at the end of each semester.
