Subscribing to NEMLA-L
To accomplish NEMLA's goal of facilitating communication among New England's music libraries and their personnel, the Chapter sponsors an electronic mailing list, NEMLA-L. The list may be used for communications to the NEMLA membership, for cataloging and reference inquiries, and any other topics of interest to the librarians who handle music in New England libraries.
While the list is not moderated, requests to subscribe are subject to the approval of the maintainer of the list. This is to prevent spammers and others from subscribing to the list and bombarding it with purely commercial messages. The list is hosted on a Lyris List Manager, provided by Wesleyan University. Please bear this in mind when considering postings with large attachments or with purely commercial content.
To subscribe, send a message to lyris@lyris.wesleyan.edu with the text subscribe nemla-l in either the subject line or the body of the message. When approved, you will receive a welcoming message detailing the options for setting your preferences. You may also log into the list website at http://lyris.wesleyan.edu to subscribe, unsubscribe, read, or send messages. Choose Library ITS Lists, then nemla-l.
Messages may be sent to the list at nemla-l@lyris.wesleyan.edu. You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
