PROMOTIONS AT WESLEYAN
|
Louise Brown, who has served as a class dean, will be promoted to dean for academic advancement. In this new capacity, she will continue her class dean responsibilities for the Class of 2009, supervise the work of the other class deans and the associate dean of student academic resources, and coordinate academic support services to maximize student success.
Rick Culliton, who currently serves as dean for campus program and Usdan Center director, will be promoted to dean of students. In his new capacity, Culliton will supervise the new director of the Usdan Center as well as Residential Life, Health Services, Health Education, Behavioral Health and Student Conduct).
Daniel Hiroyuki Teraguchi will assume the new title of dean for diversity and student engagement. In this role, he will continue to serve as a resource, advocate and advisor on student diversity and campus climate issues, and will continue to oversee International Student Affairs. The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and the Office of Community Service and Volunteerism also will become part of Teraguchi's supervisory portfolio.
