Suzanne Katzenstein,
’99, speaks to students and faculty of the College of Social Studies on
the topic, “Transitional Justice Courts: Empty Promises?” on March 4 during
a luncheon in Woodhead
Lounge. Katzenstein, who is now pursuing a Ph.D in political science
from Columbia University, spent a year in India on a Fulbright
fellowship studying domestic violence. She then attended Harvard Law
School during which she continued to pursue her interest in human
rights spending her summers at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
in East Timor, at the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project and at the
International Labor Rights Fund in Washington, D.C.
