The Javanese Gamelan Concert, a highlight of the Reunion & Commencement Weekend, was one of 36 seminars available to the Wesleyan community. It's one of the most active gamelan programs in the United States and features Sumarsan MA '76, adjunct professor of music, and I.M. Harjito, artist-in-residence, and student musicians. A highlight of the Reunion is the annual alumni parade. Graduates of the university, accompanied by friends, spouses, and offspring, line up chronologically, and, holding banners high, march to the annual Wesleyan Assembly. This year's Assembly was held in the new addition to the Freeman Athletic Center. (Photo by Bill Burkhart)
