PEWTER ON VIEW: About 50 members of The Pewter Collectors' Club of America, Inc. (PCCA) visited Wesleyan Oct. 16 for a special viewing of a portion of the Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Burns, Jr. Collection of Antique Pewter, donated in 1984. Pictured left to right are Clare Rogan, curator of the Davison Art Center; David Kilroy, event organizer and member of the PCCA, and Juliana Shortell, collections manager of the Archaeology Program, posing with an 18th century tankard by Peter Young.

At right, David Kilroy, organizer of the group's national fall meeting, discusses ecclesiastical pewter with Tom and Ellen O'Flaherty in the Exley Science Center. The pewter collection was donated to the Davison Art Center, but it is currently curated with the Archaeology and Anthropology Collections in the Science Center.
