year's theme was "Accessing Creativity."

Shasha '50 and Leslie Shasha '82 met with seminar participants during
the reception. Endowed by James Shasha, the Shasha Seminar supports
lifelong learning and encourages participants to expand their knowledge
and perspectives on significant issues.
Shasha Seminar attendees participated in
various break-out sessions to explore the creative process. Pictured,
Jane Polin '80, plays the Javanese Gamelan, which was taught by Sumarsam,
chair and adjunct professor of music.
