MIRACULOUS PUPPETS: Erin Smith '06, left, and Leslie Weinberg, right, administrative adjunct in theater and costume designer practice puppetry with "The Boy" and "Don Quixote" inside the Theater Department's Costume Shop Nov. 8. The puppets were used in two Wesleyan performances Nov. 11-13, which were written or inspired by Cervantes (1547-1616. This year marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of the first part of Miguel de Cervantesís Don Quixote. 
 

Apprentice puppet builder Corrine Zelteman '06 paints the final touches onto a series of puppets in Wesleyan's Costume Shop Nov. 8. The Miraculous Puppet Show, directed by Visiting Assistant Professor of theater Robert Bresnick and musically directed by Wesleyan Orchestra director and adjunct associate professor of music Angel Gil-OrdůŮez, debuted Nov. 11. Another showing, The Master Peterís Puppet Show, will play at the Kennedy Centerís Terrace Theater. Zelteman performed the roles of Melisandre and of Master Peter in the show.
