LIBRARY LOVERS: Friends of the Wesleyan Library, a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the library, held a book sale in the Exley Science Center May 13. The center was filled with more than 10,000 books for sale. Hundreds of people from the Wesleyan and local community came to the event in search of good reading material.

Most of the books were sold for 50 cents or $1. The more valuable books were sold through silent auction. The organization raised about $10,000 from the event. Unsold books were donated to charitable organizations and local students groups. (Photos by Olivia Bartlett)
