RE-ENTRY CULTURE SHOCK?: The Office of International Student
Services hosted the Class of 2006 and Visiting International Students
Reception April 28 in the Russell House. The reception, planned by
Theresa Cann, coordinator of International Students Services, provided
students information about returning to their home countries and
experience re-entry culture shock. Michael Sciola, director of the
Career Resource Center spoke to the students about life after
graduation. Sebastian Scherrer, a Fulbright Scholar on a year-long
exchange program from Germany, spoke on “A Foreign Experience,” a
presentation dealing with what it means to leave one’s home and embark
on a new venture. |
