WRITING TIPS: Stephen Aubrey '06 reads a sample of his writing to Mae Klinger '07 during the Wesleyan's Writers Conference June 19. This year was Wesleyan's 50th anniversary celebration of the conference.

At left, Debby Farrow of East Haddam, Conn. and her daughter, Ann Farrow of Kendall Park, N.J. go over their notes during the conference. Debby's husband, Charlie Farrow, graduated from Wesleyan in 1969. The conference welcomed new writers, established writers and anyone anyone interested in the writer’s craft.
Author and Penn State writing instructor Josip Novakovich speaks on fiction techniques inside the Public Affairs Center. He was one of 21 guest speakers at the conference.
