TOWN-GOWN CELEBRATION:
Three new banner designs celebrate Wesleyan's 175th anniversary
and its enduring partnership with the people
and businesses of downtown Middletown. The red and black banners fly from the city's new lampposts along Main
Street.
City of Middletown Firefighters donated their time and equipment
to install the 48 celebratory banners in time for Wesleyan's Homecoming/Family Weekend, when alumni and student families will
visit
campus and downtown stores and restaurants.
