TO THE BEAT:
Jose Taiko presented a brief drumming demonstration in Olin Library
Sept. 28. The group's music weaves traditional Japanese sounds with the
beat of world rhythms.
San Jose Taiko performed the 3-piece mini
concert to give the Wesleyan audience a feel for their concert Sept. 29.
Taiko also performed as part of the Center for the Arts Crowell Concert
Series.
The event was co-sponsored by the Freeman
Asian/Asian-American Initiative and the Office of the President. Video
