BUDDING ARTISTS: The Middletown Public School Art Exhibition is on display in the Ezra and Cecile Zilhka Gallery.

Fifth-grader Selman Avei created a African-American art inspired sculpture.
More than 1,500 pieces of art made by Middletown students are on display at the 26th annual exhibit. Co-sponsored by the Board of Education, the Community and University Services for Education (C.A.U.S.E.) and the Center for the Arts, the exhibit will be open through March 18.
