WRITERS at WESLEYAN:
George Packer, a staff writer from The New Yorker, speaks to
Wesleyan Writers Conference participants inside the Center for the Arts
Cinema June 20. Packer addressed long-form nonfiction during his talk.
Bruce Bayne of Hampton, Conn. speaks to
Walter Earle of Kennet Square, Penn. about his manuscript. Participants
had the opportunity to share and critique each other's writings during
the 51st annual, week-long conference.
Teaching faculty Roxanna Robinson and
Richard Bausch chat about writing topics during lunch in the Davenport
Campus Center. Robinson is an author of seven books and spoke to Writing
Conference participants about writing short stories. Bausch is the
author of nine novels and several short stories.
Kathy Bolpe of Mastic Beach, N.Y. chats with
teaching fellow and author Maureen Sullivan of Somerville, Mass. during
