ROOF REPROOFING:
Wesleyan's Central Power Plant, located on the corner of High St. and
Williams St., is receiving a roof resurfacing. The area has been fenced
off for safety reasons during construction.
Contractors are removing the sidewalk,
stairs, grass and soil covering the power plant, which is located
underground. The facility's roof had been leaking for several years.
Once the roof is repaired, contractors will
add a waterproofing seal and recover the roof with soil and grass. The
sidewalk and stairs will be replaced. The project should be completed in
