ENVIRONMENTAL OPTIONS : Barry Chernoff, director of the Environmental Studies Certificate Program (ESCP), Robert Schumann Professor of Environmental Studies, professor of biology, speaks to 14 undergraduates about the ESCP Oct. 9 in Woodhead Lounge. Chernoff says topics under the program include global climate change, a creation of sustainable economy, population growth, clean water and air, biodiversity, food production, environmental justice and responsible environmental policies among industrial and commercial enterprises.

Attendees received a catered lasagna and salad dinner, and had the opportunity to ask questions about the Environmental Studies Certificate Program. Students who work towards the certificate come from several different majors. (Photos by Olivia Bartlett)
