A GRAD INTRODUCTION:
President Michael Roth spoke during the Graduate Student Association
Reception Oct. 8 in the Fayerweather ballroom. The reception was held to
introduce the graduate student community to the president, and allow
students an opportunity to mingle with each other and faculty advisors. |

More than a dozen faculty attended the
reception, including Mark Slobin, chair of Music Department, professor
of music; David Bodznick, Dean of Natural Sciences and Mathematics,
professor of biology and neuroscience and behavior; and John Kirn,
director of Graduate Studies and associate professor of biology and
neuroscience and behavior.

Roth spoke about his personal experience in
graduate school during the reception. The Graduate Student Association
hopes the event will lead to further collaboration between the graduate
