HOMECOMING: Wesleyan hosted its 2007 Homecoming/Family Weekend Nov. 2-4 with the highlight of the weekend being the inauguration of President Michael Roth. Roth spoke to the Wesleyan community on the theme "Liberal Education and Public Life" and played keyboard following his talk.

The Wesleyan Cardinals played Williams College during the homecoming football game Nov. 3.
  
Parents, families, alumni, faculty, staff and students gathered for the Taste of Middlesex County on Nov. 3. Seven local vendors sold samples of their cuisine at the event.
Walter Mosley, author of 29 best-selling books, spoke on "Bearing Witness" during the dedication of the Edgar F. Beckham Hall in the Fayerweather building Nov. 3. His talk was an inauguration event, and part of the 15th annual Dwight L. Greene Symposium.
