PROPOSED PLANS: In center, at left, Bob Shaeffner of Payette Architects and Robert Schmidt, project manager, explain the proposed plans for Wesleyan's new Molecular and Life Sciences building during an open house and design review March 28 in Usdan University Center.

David Bodznick, dean of natural sciences and mathematics, professor of biology and professor of neuroscience and behavior, speaks to Adrian Donohue, WesTel administrator, about the model. Wesleyan faculty, staff and area residents were invited to the open house. The goal of the building is to create a stronger sense of community among students and faculty in different areas of science by increased opportunities for informal interaction.
