PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCH ON DISPLAY: Toni Martello '08 speaks to her peers at the Department of Psychology's Research Poster Presentation April 22 in Judd Hall. The event allowed seniors to present their research to fellow students, faculty and staff. Martello's research was titled "The Poor Student's Guide to College" and focused on how students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds tackle challenges in the elite university system. Her advisor is Rachel Russell, visiting assistant professor of psychology.

Malcolm Hill talks about his research titled "Context Processing during Reading in Schizophrenia: Evidence from Eye Movements." His advisor is Barbara Juhasz, assistant professor of neuroscience and behavior, assistant professor of psychology.
Sarah Jeffrey '08 researched how education level, age and gender variables relate to social anxiety disorder and alcohol abuse in her study titled, "Accounting for the Association Between Social Anxiety Disorder and Alcohol Abuse Disorder. Her advisor is Lisa Dierker, associate professor of psychology.
Max Wu '08 analyzed 36 university resident advisors for his study titled "Resident Advisor General Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Personality Dimensions and Internal Belief Characteristics as Predictors of Rated Performance." Wu's advisor is Steve Stemler, assistant professor of psychology.
