HUGHES NEWS:
Wesleyan held its annual Fourth of July picnic for the 2008 Hughes
Summer Outreach Research Program fellows July 3 between Exley Science
Center and Shanklin Laboratory. The program is open to all students who
reside in Connecticut or are currently attending colleges and
universities in the state of Connecticut. |

The Summer Research program concluded with a
poster session Aug. 1 in Exley Science Center, where more than 40
students presented their research. Fellows performed research in a life
science laboratory under the direction of a Wesleyan faculty member, and
participated in all parts of the summer research program, including weekly seminars and workshops, a symposium, various social events.
