HUGHES NEWS: Wesleyan held its annual Fourth of July picnic for the 2008 Hughes Summer Outreach Research Program fellows July 3 between Exley Science Center and Shanklin Laboratory. The program is open to all students who reside in Connecticut or are currently attending colleges and universities in the state of Connecticut.

The Summer Research program concluded with a poster session Aug. 1 in Exley Science Center, where more than 40 students presented their research. Fellows performed research in a life science laboratory under the direction of a Wesleyan faculty member, and participated in all parts of the summer research program, including weekly seminars and workshops, a symposium, various social events.
