Housing and Meals
Limited on-campus housing is available to Community Scholars interested in the Residential Scholar opportunity on a space-available basis. If space is available, the Residential Scholar may choose to take the space available or they may elect to live off-campus. Please note: determinations of space availability may not be made until the week prior to the beginning of term.
The per-term Residential Comprehensive Fee for 2015-2016 is $6,752 for freshmen and sophomores; the fee is $7675 for juniors and seniors. This includes a 135-meal plan; the meal plan is only available to Residential Scholars. Community Scholars who do not reside in campus housing may add Middletown Cash to their WesCard. Middletown Cash may be used in all Wesleyan dining facilities for meals, as well as for a variety of other purchases.
Students requesting housing must provide proof of compliance with the State of Connecticut immunization requirements, must be over the age of 18, and must have previously lived in an on-campus college or university residence. If you are interested in on-campus housing, please email Sarah-Jane Ripa, Associate Director for Student Services.
These refunds are pro-rated based on the number of days of occupancy. The occupancy start date is the day housing opens to an individual each semester. The end date is the date of key return to the Office of Residential Life as outlined in the Housing Contract. No refunds are granted for the final two weeks of each term.
These refunds are pro-rated up to the value remaining in the semester in which the withdrawal occurs. No refunds are granted for the final two weeks of each term.
