Requirements for the Major

Foundation Courses:

  • BIOL 181 & BIOL 191 ---- Principles of Biology I & Lab (0.5 credit)
  • BIOL 182 & BIOL 192 ---- Principles of Biology II & Lab (0.5 credit)
  • CHEM 141 & CHEM 142 -----General Chemistry or Chem 143/144
  • CHEM 251 & CHEM 252 -----Organic Chemistry
  • Two additional courses from the following (beginning with graduating class of 2016):
