Registration for the Symposium is now open. The registration fee is $50 and covers lunch and dinner. The main program is at the Film Studies Building. Lunch and vendors are at Beckham Hall. The afternoon reception and evening program (talk and viewing) is at the Observatory. Dinner for registrants is at Beckham Hall. Click here to register

BRIEF RE-DEDICATION CEREMONY (5:15 P.M.)

This provides an opportunity to view the restored 20-inch refractor and the new Historical Exhibition in the VVO Library, which includes a Guestbook Exhibit. There will be music of the 1916 era provided by the West End String Quartet and some surprise costumed visitors from that era. A brief Re-dedication Ceremony will occur at 5:15 P.M. in the Observatory.

6:30 - 8:00: DINNER for Registrants Only (Beckham Hall)

In addition to the meal, there will be some closing remarks and expression of gratitude to the participants and donors.

8:15 – 9:00: Restoring the Clark Telescope
