Halloween Halls
Wednesday October 24
4:30 - 7:30 -- Routes starting at 5:15 and 5:45
[Please note: This event is geared toward 4th and 5th graders
due to the amount of walking and the types of activities; we welcome all
children to participate]
On Wednesday, October 24, Wesleyan will be
hosting “Halloween Halls” through the Office of Community Service and
Volunteerism. The event will run from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, with trick or
treating routes beginning at 5:15 and 5:45.
The children will be assigned a trick-or-treating
route to follow through the residential halls of Wesleyan’s campus.
Each group will have one or two Wesleyan student
group leaders who will lead trick-or-treaters through campus. Children
must have a chaperone for the entire event.
Each route will take approximately one and a half
hours.
Each route will begin promptly at the designated
time. If you arrive in between one of the starting times, you may wait for the
next group or a member of the Special Events crew will guide you to the previous
group’s location.
Chaperones and children should arrive at 200
Church Street at least 15 minutes before the start of the route (if you
turn onto Church Street from High Street, 200 Church is the second house on the
right). Plan to arrive earlier if you’d like your child to have snacks or play
games that will be set up at 200 Church for kids before trick-or-treating.
There will be parking across the street in LOT C.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, trick
or treating happens rain or shine!
Costumes are definitely encouraged!
