Faculty Development Seminars

From time to time, the Office of International Studies receives information about seminars organized for faculty by study abroad providers and other organizations. Such seminars are usually scholarly in nature, aiming to familiarize faculty with a particular region of the world and/or a current issue in that location. At the same time, they often serve the second purpose of acquainting faculty with particular study-abroad programs or providers. Both to continue internationalization at Wesleyan and to get program feedback from our faculty members, the Office of International Studies tries to subsidize faculty participation in such seminars. Listed below are current opportunities to participate in faculty development seminars. Faculty are encouraged to contact Carolyn Sorkin to discuss any seminars in which they would like to take part.
