EGYPT

American University of Cairo  
Fall, spring or full year.  Wesleyan requires one year of college-level Arabic or equivalent. Direct enrollment at AUC with Egyptian and American students. Arabic language, wide range of courses.

ISRAEL

Wesleyan requires one year of college-level Hebrew or equivalent.  Wesleyan also requires an ulpan (intensive Hebrew program) before the start of the semester, and students must continue to take Hebrew throughout the program. 

Ben Gurion University of the Negev 
Fall*, spring or full year. Excellent place to study Hebrew. Volunteer and internship opportunities, strong environmental sciences. 

University of Haifa

Fall*, spring or full year. Wide range of courses.

JORDAN

CIEE Jordan (Amman)
Fall, spring or year.  Wesleyan requires ARAB 102 or equivalent.  Especially relevant for Arabic, the Middle Eastern Studies certificate, ARCP, ARHA, ECON, GOVT, HIST, IR, literature, and RELI.

MOROCCO

SIT Morocco: Migration and Transnational Identity (Rabat)
Fall or spring. Wesleyan requires ARAB 102 or equivalent. Arabic language, focus on migration issues, independent study. Especially appropriate for ANTH, CSS, development studies, FGSS, GOVT, RELI, SOC, and the Middle Eastern Studies certificate.

SIT Morocco: Multiculturalism and Human Rights (Rabat)
Fall or spring. Wesleyan requires ARAB 102 or equivalent. Arabic language, focus on human rights in the region, independent study. Especially appropriate for ANTH, CSS, FGSS, GOVT, RELI, SOC, and the Middle Eastern Studies certificate.
