Requirements for
Admission
Students must have taken at least three semesters of
college-level German or the equivalent, with a record of achievement (grades
of B or better) and a potential for making maximum use of the language
training and academic seminars in Germany. They must have achieved at least
sophomore status in good academic standing and should possess the social and
emotional maturity needed for adjusting to life abroad. Students also must
have the intellectual sophistication to benefit from the rigorous course of
study that the program provides in Regensburg. Preference is given to
students enrolled in a German course at the time of application. Admission
is on a competitive basis. While preference is given to Wesleyan, Wheaton,
and Vanderbilt students, qualified students from other institutions are
welcome to apply.
