Requirements for Admission

Students must have taken at least three semesters of college-level German or the equivalent, with a record of achievement (grades of B or better) and a potential for making maximum use of the language training and academic seminars in Germany. They must have achieved at least sophomore status in good academic standing and should possess the social and emotional maturity needed for adjusting to life abroad. Students also must have the intellectual sophistication to benefit from the rigorous course of study that the program provides in Regensburg. Preference is given to students enrolled in a German course at the time of application. Admission is on a competitive basis. While preference is given to Wesleyan, Wheaton, and Vanderbilt students, qualified students from other institutions are welcome to apply.
