Subject: Expansion of Peer Tutoring Program

To all students:

I am writing to let you know that the peer tutoring program is available to any student who is interested in additional help with course material.  You can request a tutor directly and no longer need to meet first with your class dean, although you are strongly encouraged to work first with the course instructor since that is the person with the most expertise in the subject.  Once requested, you will be assigned a tutor as soon as a match can be made and as long as there are tutors available for the course requested.

If you would like to enroll as a Peer Tutor, please consider doing so.  This paid position gives you the opportunity to not only contribute to the success of other students, but also gain some life-long and transferrable skills.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dean Laura Patey at lpatey@wesleyan.edu or your class dean.

Best, Dean Brown
